## At a glance

- A durable flying notebook. Wide defensive fire and heavy bombs buy space for slower turns. In this notebook its specialty is defensive fan. All twelve aircraft are available from the hangar; the selection is a playful comparison of handling, not a reconstruction of historical opposing forces.

- Real aircraft design · fictional arcade handling and matchups.

## Dated changes

- 2026-10-30: Added from the named source to the Field Guide.

## Open questions

- What does the single-player control scheme leave out? A B-17F depended on ten crew members. Navigation, flying and defense required people working together; one game controller compresses their separate jobs.
