## At a glance

- Six heavy ink bombs and the strongest airframe. Plan the next lane before you need it. In this notebook its specialty is deep ordnance reserve. All twelve aircraft are available from the hangar; the selection is a playful comparison of handling, not a reconstruction of historical opposing forces.

- Real aircraft design · fictional arcade handling and matchups.

## Dated changes

- 2026-10-30: Added from the named source to the Field Guide.

## Open questions

- How did the Lancaster differ from the Manchester that preceded it? The redesign used four Merlin engines in place of the Manchester’s two-engine arrangement. Its long bomb bay supported a variety of loads and missions.
