## At a glance

- Quick turns and a fast stream of ink. Trade a little armor for room to dance. In this notebook its specialty is rapid twin guns. All twelve aircraft are available from the hangar; the selection is a playful comparison of handling, not a reconstruction of historical opposing forces.

- Real aircraft design · fictional arcade handling and matchups.

## Dated changes

- 2026-10-30: Added from the named source to the Field Guide.

## Open questions

- What improvements could leave a familiar silhouette almost unchanged? Propeller control and fuel quality improved early Spitfire performance. Looking only at the outline misses engineering changes inside the aircraft.
