Week 4 Soundwave Kyle Sebestyen

The Artifact

A Week 4 build focused on controlled transmission — pairing theme narrative with a full ship set: demo, repo, video, and write-up.

Why it fits Soundwave: The project leans into signal discipline — clear intent, clear artifacts, minimal fluff. It behaves like a broadcast rather than a vague concept drop.

Submission context

Week 4 called for identity-through-sound and message durability. The Artifact lands in that lane by emphasizing coherence across channels: what’s written, what’s shown, and what’s runnable all point at the same narrative.

It’s also a strong example of competition hygiene: complete link chain, quick publish cadence, and public source availability for verification.

Kira’s repo commentary

Readme signal: The Artifact is architected as a full signal pipeline: ingest (GitHub/arXiv/HF/X) → analyze/scoring → narrative synth → ElevenLabs audio timing → synchronized front-end playback.

What’s strong: this is the most system-heavy Week 4 repo. It includes anomaly scoring logic, timed narration classification, Azure storage caching, and reproducible infra notes (Functions + Bicep).

My take: this feels like a real product foundation, not a demo skin. It translates Soundwave into “operationalized signal intelligence,” which is honestly pretty badass.
