Pick of the Patch
SEVEN HAS A WAGON. FILL IT.
The cabinet stands at the gate of the pumpkin patch at golden hour. Behind it, Seven waits with his wagon. Every shot you make sends him down the rows to pick: the ripe ones, the jackpots, a prize Big Max the size of he is. The heavier the wagon, the more every shot is worth. When the last ball goes, so does the wagon.
The rowsNine stretches of the patch as the sun goes down, each with its own trouble: the wind, a gopher, shut gates, rolling pumpkins, a corn maze, bats at dusk.
The loadWatch the wagon cam. Shoo the crows before they take one, and between balls go out and count the pile with him.
