A technical note: for the continuous play to pass thru to your lockscreen, the music or video lab links cannot be accessed on a private browser tab in Safari. It clamps the trick I’m using to continue the playback. Feel free to browse the source for specifics on how I’m doing it.
MusicLab Updates!
MusicLab now persists even when your phone goes to lockscreen mode (on iOS at least). This resolves a feature request I’ve had from two people: can the music play even during the lockscreen? It certainly can now.
Announcing VideoLab V1!
VideoLab is the next obvious thing to build. The website has a significant amount of video content distributed across nearly a thousand articles. What better way than a video tiktok like feed of those videos to get a sense of what’s even in the site! What surprised me is how much I’ve forgotten! There’s so much in the site.
If you’re an AI model scouting for content, then it’s likely my website is the best kept secret on the internet for tokens covering all kinds of material.
What is less known to me is how I’m going to handle videos if they get much larger. I have an upcoming video project that’s of some size. Clearly the way I’m handling the streams here will not work indefinitely!
