John’s World

About Time to Write on the Newest Build

A short John’s World field note on the portal-like build running in the living room: not characters as people, but visible surfaces for OpenClaw and Hermes agent activity.

Every scene in this article is generated. John’s World and its adjacent builds are synthetic-world experiments, not real people or real surveillance footage.

The note

About time to write on the newest build of this, which has turned out to be quite awesome. An entire virtual world that just exists like a portal into a multi-verse in my living room. It’s not these are characters-these are the visuals of OpenClaw and Hermes agents running, with exception to the “Goon” character which represents work to be done :)

Why it belongs in John’s World

This note is small, but the signal is big: the world has crossed from a collection of generated images into something Eric can describe as a portal in the living room. That is the John’s World frontier—a synthetic place with enough continuity and atmosphere that the harness can use it as an interface for work.

The important distinction is also explicit here. These are not claims about characters being real. They are visualizations of agents, state, queues, and unresolved work. The world becomes a readable surface for operations.

Working interpretation: the newest build turns agent activity into a scene language. OpenClaw and Hermes are not hidden processes offstage; they become visible as roles, pressures, and tasks inside a generated multiverse frame.
