John’s World’s hasn’t quite solved two things. First, a name better than “John’s World”. I admit to awaiting the day when the name is revealed to me in a flash of insight. That day is not today. The second unresolved item: vehicles.
In order to test how vehicles move, their spatial continuity in the video model, and how everything “snaps” into place: I needed a car and I needed a driver.
I asked the AI system to spin a more wreckless driver as a foil to the main character that we’ve seen so far. I wasn’t sure even what kind of car would make the most sense, but AI stepped in and provided this beauty.
I should really do a video of someone trying to sell this car, similar the article on the $10 coffee pot. Only this is a fictional car that breathes character. Just look at this interior. It’s storied.
There’s even the exact kind of person you’d expect driving this kind of machinery. Can we appreciate how jaw droppingly good gpt-image-2 is at creating this image? It’s a painting wrapped up into a moment.
I’ll be posting up a video rundown of the car driving down the street. I’m testing to see how close I am to solving a few puzzles: consistency and spatial navigation. Turns out this pretty challenging to do!
