Lantern Run field guide

The Lantern Run field guide

Locations, riders, horses and secrets from the night of 18 April 1775, and a few nights that never happened.

Paul Revere rides a brown horse straight toward the camera, his arm raised, with the Old North Church steeple and the painted houses of Boston behind him and two riders on the road.
The North End, 10 pm. Every frame of the game runs through an oil-paint filter over a backdrop painted on the easel.

Welcome to the colony

This is the field guide to Revere's Ride: Lantern Run, the GameLab sequel to the 8-bit RevereBike. It works like the encyclopedia in the back of an old game box. Read it before you ride, or come back when you are stuck.

The history is real, and the guide says so when the game bends it. When a story is a legend, like Sybil Ludington's ride or the British band at Yorktown, the guide says that too.
